HSGM Type STA Heat Cutter Blade - This is another multi-purpose blade that can be used in a variety of applications with synthetic material. The whole "V" shape of the blade becomes heated and the working area has a more pointed tip. The outer edges of the “V” shaped working area has a beveled edge, but remember that the sharpened edge is not for cutting like a steak knife. The sharpened edge is only to assist the heated blade in separating the material while the heat does all cutting and sealing.

Total length of blade: 110mm (4.33") Length of the longer sode of V shape: 30mm (1.18") Blade tip thickness: 1mm with beveled edge Max. blade tip temperature: 1100º F Recommended cutting surface: 1/4" thick glass is the HSGM recommended cutting surface for all cutting tables. Glass does not absorb heat like other materials and all the heat from the blade will go into the cutting process. Also it is real easy to clean with glass cleaner and a razor blade. Recommended straight edge material: Anodized aluminum Made in Germany Important Note: We do not recommend cutting any type of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or PVC coated materials with HSGM equipment because of the dangerous fumes it releases. We do recommend wearing a breathing filter mask while cutting any type of material with HSGM equipment. Also always review the materials MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) before cutting with HSGM equipment.
