HSGM Type F Heat Cutter Element - This heat element is mainly used to melt two pieces of rope on each side of the element, then slide the two sides of the rope off the element and push the two ends together causing them to seal together. Although it does seal the two ends together, there is no guarantee how strong it sealed. So it would have to be an application where strength was not a factor. The tip of the element is beveled if someone wanted to use it as a blade.

We do recommend wearing a breathing filter mask while cutting any type of material with HSGM equipment. Also always review the materials MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) before cutting with HSGM equipment.
