HSGM HSG-0 Heat Cutter with Polyamid Housing and Kevlar Cord: This is a customer driven product that derived from a customer having problems with their operators cutting the cords to often while using the regular HSG-0 heat cutter. So to solve a customer's problem, our parent company started offering the HSG-0 w/Polyamid Housing and a Kevlar covering on the cord to keep users from cutting the cords. This is a hand-operated heat cutting tool to cut small quantities, recommended for short-time operation only. Suitable to cut and seal the edges of synthetic material to prevent fraying and unraveling. Such as synthetic fabric, fiber, cords, ropes, webbing, and belting. HSGM Styro-Cut 120 Hot Knife without blade (Blades shown in photo are available for purchase separately) - This particular polystyrene cutter is a great all around hot knife. It’s a great tool for hobbyist, crafts, schools, colleges, universities, and shipping departments to cut polystyrene boards/blocks to help tightly secure products while in transit to the customer. The Styro-Cut 120 hot knife is also designed where you can purchase Nichrome band and bend/modify the band to your preferred groove shape and connect the two ends of the band into the Styro-Cut 120 hot knife to have your on custom groove blade. HSGM Styro-Cut 140 Hot Knife w/C-140 blade - This is the work horse of our polystyrene cutters! Not only can this hot knife power fairly long straight blades, it can also power an assortment of special shaped blades to cut out shaped grooves into polystyrene boards and blocks. Just plug it in, press the trigger, wait about 10 seconds, and you're ready to make some creative cuts with this hot knife. This is the tool of choice for many professionals in multiple industries. SF Cutting Foot for HSG-0; used in combination with HSG-0 and Type R blade helps stabilize your fabric for a high quality cut and seal when no cutting surface is available. This is the one and only original OEM SF Cutting Foot crafted by HSGM GmbH in Germany. The original SF cutting foot mounts directly to the HSG-0 heat cutter, has two points of adjustment and top and bottom support for the material. It is also plated to help prevent corrosion. HSGM Type F Heat Cutter Element - This heat element is mainly used to melt two pieces of rope on each side of the element, then slide the two sides of the rope off the element and push the two ends together causing them to seal together. Although it does seal the two ends together, there is no guarantee how strong it sealed. So it would have to be an application where strength was not a factor. The tip of the element is beveled if someone wanted to use it as a blade.
HSGM Type HS-SG Heat Cutter Blade - Cutting blade similar to the HS-S, with a smaller "V-shaped open mouth" and no "foot". The V shape in the middle of the blade is the part that heats up. This blade is also excellent for larger width materials. The HS-SG blade works like an open pair of scissors; just get it started and push the blade across to the other side of the fabric.
HSGM Type HS-S Heat Cutter Blade - Cutting blade with "V-shaped open mouth" heated surface which affords "top and bottom heating". Excellent blade for cutting and sealing of stronger fabrics such as awnings, sails, ground cover, netting and webbing. Also has a non-heated "foot" up front which can help guide the material up into the blade. The HS-S blade cuts similar to an open pair of scissors where you get it started and just push the blade across the material.
H/604 - Optional Foot Pedal. The optional foot pedal is a modification accessory that can be connected to one of our larger units to eliminate the need for the trigger on the Type M handle. Just press the foot pedal with ones foot, within 6 to 8 seconds the blade heats up to desired temperature, then remove ones foot from the pedal to stop power to the blade and the blade will cool down. Note: HSGM recommends that this accessory be installed by an HSGM technician to keep from affecting any HSGM warranty. Please call for details. (HSG-1-VW through HSG-3-VW units sold separately.)
HSGM Form 2 Heat Cutter Blade - This is an excellent blade for doing one shot guillotine cuts on webbing, ropes and cords. Just lay your material down on your cutting surface, then come straight down onto the material to achieve a precise cut and seal in one motion. a.k.a. F2 blade.
HSGM Form 3 Heat Cutter Blade - This is a very good blade for cutting narrow widths and diameters of webbing, cords and ropes. It is also a good blade for reaching in the tight corners of bobbins.
HSGM Type G-90 Heat Cutter Blade - Cutting blade used to cut rope, webbing and belting material. Great for guillotine style cuts.
HSGM Type V Heat Cutter Blade – This blade is excellent for different types of cutting applications. The whole V section is the heating surface. The pointed tip is very good for making quick cuts across thin fabrics and the wider heated area at the top of the working area is good for cutting and sealing thicker material also.
HSGM Type VST Heat Cutter Blade - Cutting blade for a variety of heavier cutting operations. The entire head, V shape, of blade heats .
HSGM Type STA Heat Cutter Blade - This is another multi-purpose blade that can be used in a variety of applications with synthetic material. The whole "V" shape of the blade becomes heated and the working area has a more pointed tip. The outer edges of the “V” shaped working area has a beveled edge, but remember that the sharpened edge is not for cutting like a steak knife. The sharpened edge is only to assist the heated blade in separating the material while the heat does all cutting and sealing.
